Covid-19 protocols.
The health and wellness of our MOJA community is our top priority. In light of the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) developments, we’re committed to closely following updates and keeping everyone’s health top of mind. We’ll be updating you as needed with the latest information on how we’re keeping our community healthy.
We know these times are difficult and scary for everyone. We are doing our best to continue to provide a safe, stress-free, environment where you can take a break from all the craziness and enjoy yourself. Thank you for your understanding, patience, and support during this time. It is an adjustment for everyone but we are in this together!
Please review these reminders and general information regarding health and safety when taking in-person classes.
In order to ensure you’re safety and the safety of our team, we have moved exclusively outdoors and online. Here is what you need to know:
We use various outdoor locations. Beaches, parks, meadows.
In-Person class capacity will be limited.
No hands-on adjustments.
Your movement space will be assigned to you in small groups. We ask you bring your own mat with you to class.
We will ensure we practice social distancing, with a six feet apart rule between every participant in class.
Masks are optional while you practice yoga & meditation but must be worn anytime 6 feet of space is not possible.
We encourage you to bring your own props, but we will offer props to those who need it.
There are everyday preventive actions recommended by the CDC that we each can take to help limit the spread of respiratory diseases:
Stay home if you’re feeling sick. We’ll be honoring all cancellations for those of you who aren’t feeling well.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
